Jerilynne Nibbe Watercolors

Watercolor is one of my passions. The rich, flowing color and immediacy of the medium are a constant inspiration and challenge. I began my serious study of watercolor in adult education classes with Rose Margaret Braiden who inspired me with her knowledge and love of the medium. Flowers are among my favorite subjects for watercolor paintings. The colorful, abundant blooms in my garden are a constant invitation to get out my palette and brushes and set to work. To see more examples of my floral paintings look at the Floral Gallery. Some of my recent work includes still-life and portraits of animals and a seasonal series of Aspen trees.
